On my way into work this morning, it was dramatic and ever so breath-taking. Driving southwest along M-22 heading towards Glen Arbor, I felt a bit like the only one awake in all of creation besides the burning sun and dramatic moving cloud cover. There was a vibrant rainbow that spanned from hillside to hillside stretching over like an arch. Unfortunately by the time I pulled over to get my camera out of the trunk, the rainbow disappeared from my vantage point. However, I managed to capture a few of the dramatic historic farmsteads going through Port Oneida Rural Historic District.
Meanwhile, this song “Turn My Eyes” by Bonray was appropriately playing on the radio, followed by an announcement that it is National Coffee Day. Yes, apparently that’s a thing. So here it is, Friday September 29th, 2017.
I could do with or without the video but I was moved by the beat and lyrics. Take a listen here…
Inspired by the holiday, I veered south turning into Leelanau Coffee Roasters.
“Emptying the quarters out of my coat pocket, I was able to get a special large Vanilla Latte.”
I mentioned the news to the guys working behind the counter and they chucked and said, “fascinating” unaware that today was a noteworthy Friday in the world of coffee shops.
Today, I’ll be sitting at my desk working magic for:
Kevin Gerkin, Realtor | Brighton, MI
Brewery Becker | Brighton, MI
Jackson Station Livestock Co | Maple City, MI
Verona Industrial Equipment | Howell, MI
Two Brothers Coffee | Brew + Eatery | Brighton, MI
True Salon | Brighton, MI
…and we’ll see what else might get done!
Rock on and have a Happy Coffee Day!
