Background
Raquel’s artistic abilities are in her family genetics, with her Grandfather Dr. Harry A Davis, DDS, who used his artistic talents via Dentistry. Raquel’s mom followed suit using her creative gifts to give, inspire and encourage. She put a paintbrush in Raquel’s hand and surrounded her with music, dance and the arts.
Growing up, art was expressed through ballet, classical violin, painting and drawing. In High School, it was further developed through photography, and the Art of Advertising at Brighton High School. With the right leadership and encouragement from her favorite teacher, Mr. George Piner, she discovered a way to use creativity through the necessary and growing industry of marketing.
Discovering her love for the arts from an early age, she chose higher education, attending Collins College in Tempe, AZ receiving an Associate of Arts degree in the Art of Advertising. From there she went on to Columbia College in Chicago, IL furthering her education in specific areas like Creative Writing, Photography and Marketing.
