Books by Raquel Jackson
Stories that inspire wonder, connection, and creativity — from the heart of my home in northern Michigan.
Nature has a way of slowing us down, helping us see beauty in small things. The outdoors has inspired Raquel to begin writing children’s books that generate curiosity and to share moments of joy with a book. Through each story, Raquel blends art, rhythm, and nature to celebrate curiosity, family, and the joy of noticing the world around us. These are stories to share — on your lap, under the stars, or in the backseat of the car on a winding road.

Where’s Mr. Moon? 🌙
A peek-a-boo adventure for little dreamers: As you walk or drive beneath the evening sky, the moon plays hide-and-seek — behind trees, clouds, and hills — until at last he reappears, watching over us wherever we go. This rhythmic, call-and-response board book (ages 2–5) invites young readers to look up and notice the world around them. Inspired by a morning car ride with her toddler beneath a full moon rising over Northern Michigan, Where’s Mr. Moon? captures the wonder of seeing the world together through a child’s eyes.
